Professor Peter Ngala Ntumba's leadership honoured at the ISAM graduation ceremony

On Saturday 13 September, the Higher Institute of Arts and Crafts held a graduation ceremony that became a true tribute to the visionary leadership of its Director General, Professor Peter Ngala Ntumba Kabashadi.
Much more than a diploma ceremony, the day celebrated exceptional management. In the presence of the National Minister for Gender, Family and Children, ISAM came alive with a celebration in which the Director General's effectiveness, rigour and vision were praised by all.
On this occasion, Professor Peter Ngala received several tokens of merit reflecting the esteem in which he is held: a globe symbolising his openness to the world, a professor's gown in the Institute's colours, an honorary medal, and gifts from the Institute's alumni. These were powerful gestures of recognition for a man who has combined academic discipline with artistic inspiration to lead ISAM towards excellence.
Under his leadership, ISAM is seen as a true incubator of talent and a place where jobs are created. This momentum was strengthened by the Provincial Governor, Augustin Kayembe Mulemena, who granted the Institute a plot of land for new buildings — a sign of confidence in the Director General's management.
Impressed by ISAM's work, the Minister for Gender, Family and Children showed her support by presenting an envelope to the Management Committee and gifts to the graduates, recognising the Institute's leading role in empowering young people, especially young women.
Beyond the ceremony, it was the mark of Professor Peter Ngala's leadership that left the strongest impression. A visionary, a unifier and a rigorous manager, he embodies a model of academic leadership that makes ISAM not only an arts school but a true engine of development serving the local community and the whole country.
