The new 2025-2026 academic year gets under way at ISAM Mbujimayi
The Higher Institute of Arts and Crafts of Mbujimayi officially launched the 2025-2026 academic year on Monday 27 October 2025. From early morning, the campus was once again buzzing with activity, as many students — both returning students and new holders of the State Diploma — came for the first day of classes.
Professor Peter Ngala Ntumba, ISAM's Director General, welcomed them and spoke to them about citizenship education. He introduced the course with particular emphasis on shaping responsible, independent citizens who understand the values and principles governing the Republic and know how to live well in society.
The new year promises to be one of excellence, discipline and artistic and academic innovation at ISAM Mbujimayi. With this return to classes, the Higher Institute of Arts and Crafts of Mbujimayi confirms its position as a cradle of job creators in Kasai-Oriental and the surrounding region.
