The Higher Institute of Arts and Crafts acquires new training equipment

The Management Committee of the Higher Institute of Arts and Crafts (ISAM) of Mbujimayi has provided the Institute with around ten sewing machines for the launch of the Vocational Training Centre (CEFO-ISAM), along with a large batch of chairs to improve learning conditions and students' practical work.
The handover ceremony, held on the Tuya Kumpala campus, was attended by the academic authorities and the Student Union. The equipment was entrusted to the Head of the Estates Division, Mr René Franck Tshinkobo, who is responsible for managing it.
The initiative reflects the Management Committee's determination to modernise teaching equipment and strengthen vocational training, particularly in the technical programmes.
The Student Union welcomed this as an important step forward for the Institute's academic development.
