Public ISAM–Diva Retouching partnership: more than thirty trainees certified in beauty skills for the job market
On Monday 23 March 2026, the Beauty Lab of the Public ISAM of Mbujimayi hosted the closing ceremony of the professional training course in make-up, nail care and eyelash extensions. The project, a collaboration between the Higher Institute of Arts and Crafts and Diva Retouching, ended with the formal presentation of certificates to some thirty trainees.
The ceremony was honoured by the presence of ISAM's Director General, Professor Peter Ngala Ntumba, who personally opened and closed the event, showing the Institute's support for the technical empowerment of young women in Mbujimayi.
On this occasion, Professor Peter urged each graduate to put into practice what she had learned, since these skills offer a job at her fingertips.
Launched on 9 March, this intensive session trained more than 30 women to the professional standards of modern beauty therapy. Speaking at the ceremony, Divine Wassa, trainer and director of Diva Retouching, expressed her deep pride in the graduates before an audience of men and women who had come for the occasion.
Given the success of this partnership, Ms Divine Wassa has already announced that a second session is being prepared to meet growing demand.
