Postgraduate studies: Senior Lecturer Chapelle Kabangu Kanga, Master of Engineering, earns highest distinction for his DEA dissertation

The Higher Institute of Arts and Crafts of Mbujimayi has just recorded its second Advanced Studies Diploma. Enrolled in postgraduate studies at the Kananga University of Education, Senior Lecturer Chapelle Kabangu Kanga, Master of Engineering, brilliantly defended his DEA dissertation on Saturday 11 April 2026 in the Faculty of Science, Department of Mathematics, Statistics and Computer Science, specialising in Artificial Intelligence. His study was entitled: “Deploying an intelligent system for access to content and knowledge sharing”.
Before distinguished university professors, the candidate analysed the challenge of intelligent access to content and the effective flow of knowledge, which remains a major issue. He proposes deploying an intelligent system for content access and knowledge sharing, based on an integrated approach combining information systems engineering, artificial intelligence and knowledge management. The aim is to design an architecture that makes it easier to capture, organise, search and make use of knowledge, in line with current knowledge management approaches, which seek to make the best use of an organisation's intellectual resources.
After discussion and private deliberation, the jury unanimously awarded Senior Lecturer Chapelle Kabangu Kanga the highest distinction.
Warm congratulations to the new Advanced Studies Diploma graduate from the Higher Institute of Arts and Crafts of Mbujimayi.
