Outreach campaign in Mwene-Ditu: Lomami pupils invited to enrol at ISAM Mbujimayi next academic year

On Wednesday 22 April 2026, the Higher Institute of Arts and Crafts of Mbujimayi launched its outreach campaign in Lomami province, in the railway town of Mwene-Ditu. Visiting several local schools, a large team presented the benefits and advantages of the Official ISAM of Mbujimayi to their pupils.

Embodying the vision of ISAM's Director General, Professor Peter Ngala, for the growth and rise of this public institution, the delegation spent the first day going from school to school in search of the next students for the Tuya Kumpala campus.

Speaking to pupils at the schools visited, Roger Kabeya, ISAM's Head of the Beauty Therapy and Garment Technology Department, presented and explained the four programmes offered at ISAM: Beauty Therapy, Fashion Design, Garment Technology, and Hospitality, Protocol and Public Relations. He also developed the idea that ISAM Mbujimayi is “a cradle of job creators”.

ISAM Mbujimayi is the only state institution authorised to operate in the Greater Kasai region offering these four programmes.

The campaign, which began today, will end on Friday 24 April 2026.
