Teaching assistants Roger Kabeya and Baudouin Kalala present their DEA dissertations to the Director General of ISAM

After defending their DEA dissertations at the Official University of Mbujimayi, Roger Kabeya and Baudouin Kalala, both teaching assistants at the Higher Institute of Arts and Crafts of Mbujimayi (ISAM/Mbujimayi), were received by ISAM's Director General, Professor Peter Ngala Ntumba Kabashadi, to present the results of their research.

Pleased with this scientific and academic achievement, the Director General congratulated the new graduates, on behalf of the whole academic community, on obtaining the “Highest Distinction”. He encouraged them to pursue their research with dedication, with a view to preparing a doctoral thesis in the near future.

Roger Kabeya's DEA examined “local governance theory put to the test in the city of Mbujimayi: a study of the issues, challenges, stakeholder strategies and coordination mechanisms for the city's future”. Baudouin Kalala, for his part, focused his research on “the governance of public procurement and sustainable development in Kasai-Oriental: issues, challenges and prospects”.
