The academic year is under way at ISAM Mbujimayi, in a festive atmosphere
Amid enthusiasm and happy reunions, the Higher Institute of Arts and Crafts (Public ISAM) of Mbujimayi opened the doors of the new 2026-2027 academic year on Monday 26 October 2026.
New students were at the heart of the day. Welcomed and accompanied through an induction programme, they discovered their new surroundings, got a feel for life at the Institute and received their first practical guidance for their studies. Curious, a little apprehensive and very proud to join an institution dedicated to arts and crafts, they were visibly excited.
Students in the other year groups returned to their lecture halls the same day. Now familiar with the campus, they made a point of welcoming the newcomers, adding to the warm, friendly atmosphere for which the Institute's start of year is known.
Beyond the joy of being back together, this start of year launches a year of work, creativity and learning.
A successful start to the academic year!
