Second-semester session: students present their work to panels of experts

During the second-semester exam session, the Higher Institute of Arts and Crafts of Mbujimayi held a day dedicated to technical excellence and creativity last Thursday. First- and second-year Bachelor's students in Fashion Design and Garment Technology sat a crucial test: presenting the garments they had produced in their specialist courses.
The programme struck a careful balance between practice and technique across three core subjects: craft garment making, industrial garment making and pattern making. Before panels of experienced experts, each piece was examined, assessed and praised for its quality.
Beyond the marks, these presentations highlighted what makes ISAM distinctive: training not only skilled technicians but genuine job creators and future entrepreneurs, able to combine manual skill with an industrial vision. A striking demonstration that ISAM Mbujimayi remains a pool of talent ready to take on the challenges of fashion and clothing across the Greater Kasai region.
