Tina Salama ends her stay in Mbujimayi with a visit to the ISAM campus

Before leaving Mbujimayi for Kinshasa on Friday 3 April 2026, Ms Tina Salama, spokesperson for the President of the Republic, spent her final moments on a field visit to the Higher Institute of Arts and Crafts (Public ISAM), Tuya Kumpala Campus.
The visit allowed her to see first-hand the conditions in which students learn and the realities facing this vocational training institution.
Accompanied by the Management Committee, the Head of State's spokesperson toured several campus facilities, including the lecture halls and technical workshops such as the sewing workshop. This immersion gave her a concrete picture of the infrastructure challenges, but also of the potential and skills of the students trained at the Institute.
At the end of the visit, she expressed her satisfaction with the commitment of the academic staff and the determination of the students. While acknowledging the existing difficulties, she raised encouraging prospects, notably by pledging to advocate for the renovation and modernisation of ISAM's facilities.
This field visit rounded off a stay marked by the celebration of the Institute's 9th anniversary. Between academic exchanges, recognition of student talent and promises of support, Ms Tina Salama's visit opens new prospects for the Public ISAM of Mbujimayi, which is set to strengthen its role in training a creative, enterprising generation.
