The first exam session begins at the Higher Institute of Arts and Crafts of Mbujimayi
In a special atmosphere, the Higher Institute of Arts and Crafts of Mbujimayi, the State ISAM, launched its first-session exams on Thursday 14 August 2025. This crucial stage involves all students across the programmes: Fashion Design, Garment Technology, Beauty Therapy, and Hospitality, Protocol and Public Relations. ISAM's Director General, Professor Peter Ngala Ntumba, officially opened the exams.
Known as the “cradle of job creators” in Mbuji-Mayi, ISAM continues its mission of training young people who can turn their skills into real, viable projects. Students will first present on paper the fruit of several months of training before moving on to practical work.
The session, which will last at most ten days, comes just before the final-year dissertation defences for the current academic year.
